For over a decade, our school has held the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education, enabling students and teachers to experience professional training abroad. What began as a handful of mobility placements it has become an important part of our vocational education approach, helping our students and teachers prepare not only for work, but also for a global world. Vocational training is “hands-on” and “learning by doing”. Erasmus+ amplifies this principle by placing learners in real workplaces across Europe, where they must adapt to new languages, professional cultures, and expectations. An improvement in personal and professional growth that cannot be replicated in a classroom.
A student who has completed an internship abroad demonstrates adaptability, independence, and cross-cultural communication skills, qualities that set them apart in any hiring process.
This school year our GM Gestió Administrativa and GS Integració Social students have interned in Munich and Rome, while those studying GS Educació Infantil have travelled to Finland. Here is what some of them have to say:
“Working in a German office pushed me out of my comfort zone every single day. I improved my language skills, and I learned how to solve problems on my own.” — Gestió Administrativa student, Munich
“In Rome I discovered that the basics of good administration are universal, but each culture adds its own rhythm. I came back more confident and with a network of colleagues I still talk to.” Gestió Administrativa student, Rome
“Doing my placement in an Oulu kindergarten showed me different approaches to child development, more outdoor play, more closeness to children and more autonomy for children.” Educació Infantil student, Oulu Finland
“Erasmus gave me perspective. Working with vulnerable communities abroad made me realise how much we can learn from other social models—and how much we have to offer as well.” — Social Integration student, Rome

Erasmus+ is not only about sending students abroad. This academic year, we have hosted delegations from seven European partner schools and welcomed interns from four different countries. These exchanges enrich our classrooms, expose our students to diverse viewpoints, and foster lasting international friendships.
Having international trainees working alongside our own students creates a dynamic learning environment. It challenges assumptions, sparks curiosity, and reminds everyone that professional excellence knows no borders.
Our commitment is clear: to expand Erasmus+ opportunities across all our school. We want every student to have an international experience. We are equally determined to strengthen teacher mobility, because educators who experience other systems bring fresh ideas back to their own practice.
